The sound is awesome in the Driver, exhaust and engine noise, almost cream every time, maybe K&N filter helps . Thinking of maybe doing Jetta front conversion (as i have the jetta sitting there) with maybe the light brow, as the crystal lights are going on the cabby anyway, and maybe try find the arch kit ive got on the jetta and spray it body coloured and fit that.

What you think? Thoughts, suggestions?

nice collection of car porn (y)

if you do that i'll hunt you down. jetta front conversion is morally wrong, how could you live with yourself?!

I'll agree with dave on that but then, that is easy one of the best looking cinqs on the forum, its immaculate.

Thanks guys on the cinq comments, i do love it, is very fun to drive, if my mum and dad get a good quote on the cabby with me as a named driver then i'll use that (they have their own cars aswell) and keep the cinq insured on very limited mileage and maybe look into 1242 etc. But this golf is so quick its unbelievable (compared to what i thought it would be), with the new bits and mk3 head&cam, 70mph is pretty easy cruising in 4th, took it for a spin yesterday on the motorway and its awesome. Obviously its harder in town, like 3pt turns are not really an option, and thats where the cinq is good, a town car, quick off the mark and easy to park. I dont think ill be able to get a cinq again like mine in the same condition, and with all the new bits ive got on it, so i'm kinda undecided on what to do atm, which one to sell..

New piccies:
More pics.. DVD Player in Centre Console and a few from in my work car park..

DVD Player (its not fully secured, prev owner only cut out the shape so it'd fit)

The thing is all my friends think my cars are all piles of ****e, they think the cabby is OK, i pulled up in this and theyve all fallen in love with it lol, wont stop talking about it, the wheels are obviously the talking point ;)

Putting the Ronal Turbos and DVD Player in/on the Cabrio, New golf will be sold with the BBS RA 14" wheels on it, and MOT. Drove the Cinq yesterday and i cant sell it! So Golf Mk2 and Jetta Mk2 both getting sold asap. It is nice to drive on motorways etc but it isnt as fun as the cinq for what i do every day.. town driving. Cheers for the good feedback tho guys. Craig

Good to see someone else keeping the classic Veedubs going! My mum and dad have a 1974 Bay Window van in bright green that belonged to my grandad a year from new... its great...! Also, bf planning to gat a MK1 Golf soon...cant wait to get myself on the insurance!!

Its a lovely looking Golf you've got there!!

Aw shame your not keeping it!

MK2 golfs rock, I should know :p . If you do end up keeping it then ide keep it small bumper without the arches. looks smoooooth. Could bodycolour the bumpers though. That would look niiicceee.

Would you consider selling the ronals? ive got a brand new set of multispokers i could trade with :p

doubt he will mate, he bought the car for the ronals..

yea, i did mate.. my dad is intent on having them on the cabrio, he fitted them when i was in birmingham for the weekend without even telling me! :bang:

If i do wanna sell them then ill let you know Chris, but ive wanted them for so long i doubt i will!

Well i think its getting picked up tonight for £800 with mot till july 13th and no tax, DVD player is coming out, ive (well my dad!) taken the ronals off and replaced with the 14" BBS's. So a decent profit considering i was looking at paying £300 for the ronals the week before i got the car!
Here it is on the BBS's that were on the cabby..
