Hi, I just joined today as I started having an overheating problem with my Marea Weekend . A quick search on here and I discovered it's a faulty guage. This has somewhat put my mind at rest. Great forum, wonderful source of information.

Somebody using the search option Hellcat will be pleased.
Bear in mind tho just because it was a faulty guage on one persons car doesn't mean it will be the same on yours. Overheating can be costly if not attended to promptly.
Hope it is your guage tho. Look forward to reading your posts in the future.

I'll keep an eye on it to see how it goes. I was a bit perplexed as the old jalopy wasn't displaying any of the normal symptoms (no water loss, mayonnaising, steam, and heater was belting out plenty of hot air). The quick bang on the dash sent the needle straight back down to the halfway mark, I felt just the the Fonz, Heeeeeyyyy!!!

If I could still issue rep.. I'd give you at least 2 for using search

The search facility is great, very esy to use.
I have the 1.6 16v model w reg and only has just over 25k on the clock.
