(Apologies for the unoriginal name - I lost my old password)

Anyway... the intermitant function on my wipers has died. I thought it might be a relay, but I can't find where the relay is. Nor, incidentally, can my local dealer.

They did suggest that it was the parking sensor on the wiper motor - hence need for new motor - lots of money and labour.

I'm not convinced.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice would be greatfully received

Thanks

Il Duce

(PS - I'm not really new to the - I was the bloke who asked about stick-on walnut dashes - about a year ago. Please don't let that put you off)!

I'm having similar problems.

First the wipers stayed on all the time (on intermittent and slow speed) although turned off at the stalk. This could only be solved by turning off the engine and waiting for 3 seconds.

Now I have lost intermittent and slow speed. I only have fast speed and a flick wipe.

At the same time I have lost washers to both front and rear. If I pull the stalk to use the washer I do get the 3 sweeps of the wipers but no water.

Apparently, reading other threads all the parts that control the intermittent function are in the wiper motor.

Apart form checking the 12 v at the wiper motor to see if it fluctuates I do not have nay other ideas.

Anyone got any other thoughts.

Jon
