I've wandered over from Bravas/ Bravos to see if anyone knows approximately how much it costs for a set of 4 Marea door handles (2 front, 2 back). Also, if they're sprayed from brand new, do they require priming before being sprayed, or can they be sprayed straight onto the handle?

Thanks!

*Skulks off back to her own bit*.

get some from a scrapyard, get one form a scrapyard, da na na na, da na na na :D

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, wish it'd clean itself!

Hi Helz,
Thought you had got lost there;)
I think the handles come primed, ready to spray.

Thanks :). I had already tried the scrapyard option, but there's nothing doing round here for the last week or so (since I gave up on the AR chrome handles idea) so it's going to have to be new eeeeeek. I'll start saving then!

why did you give up on the AR option, is it complicated, was gonna try that too

Stoopidly, I trusted Fiat/AR parts man, who said that a. they were expensive to buy and b. needed some sort of mod to fit, more so than taking a hacksaw to Marea handles anyway (although they would do it for a price). Then I decided to colour bits of my car and thought the handles would look nicer in whichever colour I choose than in chrome. That doesn't mean you have to give up on the dream though!

Hi!
Have the same problem with the handles on marea weekend. Since they are so expensive I decided just to strip the "falling-appart-goddamn-rubber" off the handles and it looks quite nice. The handles are now a bit thiner, but luckily my marea is dark grey so you can't notice that even from three feet away from the car.
