Can someone confirm the size of the speakers in the rear pillars of the Marea Weekend please ?

I was led to believe they were 10cm, but I have just measured the speaker size and they look more like 8cm, assuming that the measurement is taken from the edges of the speaker cone.

hi rob,

the speakers in the rear pillars are 3.5", i replaced mine with a set of jbl gto-326 from halfords.

they were however far from an ideal fit, i could only fasten them via the top bracket as the bottom bracket was slightly wider than the gap in the plastic for it. and i gad to wrap the connections with insulating tape to prevent them shorting on the body.

having said that they are in, secure and sound better than the originals

Confirmed as 3.5". I just bought some Alpine's for £16.99

Aren't they just too damn far away to notice though? I'd have thought they suffer from the doppler effect

actually i can fit 2 asda bags and a bottle of pop in there quite snugly, and if im really inventive i can slot a packet of rich tea biscuits behind my sub and a copy of the autotrader fits on top of the amp. must admit i've wished for more boot space more than once lately, every time i need to put something in the boot my sub and amp needs to come out, major headache with all the wiring (13wires and 3 pairs of rca's), plus its all bolted into the car to prevent theft. i'm thinking about sticking a big wiring multiplug on and some quick release security bolts. it is a fairly pointless boot, even when its empty there's not enough room to go camping.
