Can anyone recommend a garage in Kent for a Cambelt change etc.
I've been told that the following parts need to be done:
cambelt
tensioner
water pump
Aux belts
and valve timing changer

The cars done 52k and is on an 02 plate.

i beleive powerfiat is around that side of the country but i dont have any details, try googling it

It's about 2 hours drive away, so not exactly local. However, I used to drive 90 minutes to get my Coupe to MotorMech in Birmingham.

powerfiat are very highly recomended, i use them on my 1.2 bravo if im not doing the work myself as they are the only people i trust in the area. it is a bit of a drive, but worth the money and expertise, and you could well be saving money as it is over any other garage

they are in laindon, which is just outside basildon

Is it really necessary to do the belt at 50k even though the car is only 3 years old?

No. But if your belt snaps it will be necessary to replace 20 valves @ £20 each.

Not worth the risk trying for 72k..
