(G) The Weekend is back

The Weekend is back.........if only for a short while!

I deciced that I couldn't let it stand any longer, whether I need two cars or not, so after getting the 20V saloon back from MOT needing only new wiper blades, I bit the bullet and sent the weekend in.

I took the battery off and gave it a good full day charging, checked the usual fluids and stuff and gave her a quick clean up inside. I put the battery back on and away she went, no problem after not moving a wheel for 6 months.

I took her to my usual garage (Woodcocks in Hull) where Alan said he'd sort out the bits that wanted doing in his spare time, he owed me a favour.......

I got a call next morning to say that other than the headlight which was smashed by a flying stone just before I took her off the road, all she needed was new discs and pads on the front, which was expected after the amount of time she'd been left standing, and a bulb on an indicator dash tell-tale. Result!!!!

So she's now back with me and the 20V is sat on the drive while I have some fun in the weekend for a change.

Anyway we are considering selling both to buy something that better fits our needs. So theres our 2000 (V) Marea 2.0 20V ELX 50k on the clock, really nice condition, main dealer service history, and our 1.6SX Weekend P Plate, exceptional cond. only 57k, alloys........

If anyones interested leave a massage here!!! I don't need to sell either, but we fancy a change so if someone offers the right money they'll go, if not I'm quite happy to keep them for a while yet.
