Hi,
I hope anyone will answer soon as I am considering to get refund for my new speakers. I thought they will fit as my Marea Weekend(1.8, 115hv, 99) has the cables in real speakers places but speakers are not. I actually connected them already to the cables but speakers won't make any sound. It seems my original casette audio doen't support real sound? what's wrong with them? I have been trying to find the answer from this forum but coulnd't so far. Please help me!

Were the rear speakers missing? Are you sure the fader is turned up? How about the rear-channel? Is it still working?

Hi!
Yes rear speakers weren't there in the places where you can open the cover simply by hand(the corners of luggage room of weekend). But the cables were there so I thought once I connect speakers to them they should work! I havn't changed anything but all are original. Of course I checked out the fader and stuff like you mentioned

All I can suggest is checking the connections at the head unit. Check the cables for continuety as they may have been damaged somewhere along the length of the car. As I say the worst could be a blown rear channel on the head unit's amp. try dry connecting a speaker to the head unit close to the head unit.
