Cylinder head skimming

Hi All,

What tool is used to skim the head?

I found this on the net, this cant be all thats required, can it?

na, thats just to scrape off the gasket if its stuck to the head or block.

the head has to goto a machinist to be skimmed as it has to be perfectly done.

should cost about £30 to get it skimmed so its not too bad, try asking at your local garage to see where the nearest one is.
