| Marea Fuel Pump Noise Having looked through previous threads I am now aware that the noise coming from the back tank area must be the pump which is inside the tank. It sounds like a hundred high pitched wasps in a tim can which remains audible while ignition is on. Question is, is the pump about to give up or is there another impending fault. It's been doing it for about 6 months.

| Re: Marea Fuel Pump Noise Hi rigsby and welcome to our forum. ![]() You are correct in that it is most likely the fuel pump at fault. They are quite easy to change if you are comfortable about messing about in the fuel tank. | |||

| Re: Marea Fuel Pump Noise Thanks for the confirmation. If I wanted to change it, is there a good source for parts of this nature or do I have to pay FIAT dealership money. Thanks again R16SBY

| Re: Marea Fuel Pump Noise Ah, that's interesting. I am inclined to leave it but as it's my wife's car, I do not want her breaking down. I will ponder and save up my pennies. Thanks for all assistance. R16SBY
