Marea SX problem.

On my X reg Marea, it has a huge consitent problem. You can constantly drive it on the motorway .. for as many miles... Pull up to a traffic light, and the car will cut out. Turn the engine on ... cuts out... turn it on... cuts out... Then possibly.. it starts.. and carries on excellent till the next stop. Any idea's on whats causing the problem?
