Well, after having the wrong brake shoes from the factors (only one type came up under my reg no apparently). I recommenced shoe replacement this time with the right shoes only to find that the drivers side wheel cylinder was seized solid.
Went to the factors again and again there was only one listed under my reg number. They didn't have it in stock but it would be in for the next morning.

Picked it up, looked at it in the factors and it bears no resemblance to the one on my car. It's smaller... And aluminium.. So I said "this isn't the right one, mine isn't aluminium and it's bigger"

So.. Back to square one.

Does anyone out there have some part numbers for the cast rear wheel cylinders for a 1.9 jtd weekend on a y reg 110bhp ??

search eper for fiat part number
give that number to your motor factor
or search on ebay
or gsf
or ecp
or carparts4less
or any other car parts vendor you like

This was GSF

There are four different wheel cylinders listed for 186A6000

So no, that doesn't help unless I order all four which I don't really want to do.

plus, I can never get eper to work due to error 666 not that it matters. *requires Internet Explorer.. Which I don't have so. *shrug*

Go on mrauto then , only one aluminium cylinder listed with 22.2 mm diameter.
All the others are 20.6mm diameter just different brands and different prices for same part.

Gsf REAR WHEEL CYLINDER
PART NO : 654FI0050

If it was Gsf that supplied wing part let's not be too hard on them, I have had things from GSF where other customers have returned parts in the wrong boxes, then I have had the wrong part in the box with the right number.

I use gsf all the time and they are usually great. There just seems to be issues with the Weekend model parts in general. Taking the ally one back tomorrow and I am now armed with a variety of part numbers (cheers guys) and accurate pics and measurements of the current cylinder, so hopefully I can see what they have there and exchange it tomorrow for the right one. The Weekend is my daily so I can't afford to take it off the road. ?
