hi, toggle switch down by handbrake IIRC

I used a Bravo / a Mirror when my electric one got broken..on the old ELX

Down by the coin holder thing? that makes sense.. there is a big gap at the end of the coin rack. The hunt begins!

Hi, Ceriffwrdd. There's a company called tradevanaccessories.co.uk who do a stainless steel covering for door handles etc.I do not know what they are like or if they do them for your vehicle. There's also a site called wingmirrorman .co.uk who does w/m for your car. Again don't know anything about this site.

Thanks for the info! I shall look into this! :)

cup holder is in the glovebox.......... i think, or maybe i'm confusing the wifes xsara picasso...... it's raining and so i'm not going outside to check, but i think that's right.

Yeah.. like i said.. annoying lack of cup holders.. one single useless cup holder inside the glovebox door... It doesn't hold a cup, i can't reach it from the drivers seat... I am going to make something to go in front of the gear stick.

Crazy though, for a "family" car that seats five comfortably... one piddly cup holder that you can't access. heheheh

I borrowed a Marea JTD estate once... there was a whirring when driving that I was told was the Turbo.... maybe I noticed it more because I drive a petrol Brava 1.2 . Power steering problems sound worse near to full lock. Electric pumps shouldn't give constant noise.

As for wheels, yes 15" will look much better, anything from a medium sized Fiat 90s era onwars.. 98mm PCD so very specialized exceptfor Alfas. So Brava / Bravo / Marea / Punto, but maybe 15" from a basic Stilo would be OK depending on the offset and how they sit in the arches.

Hope your project goes well... (y)

pretty sure they are all belt driven PAS - same as Bravo/a.

Ok.. so, i am changing the headlights (the brackets are snapped on the drivers side)...

I have noticed that the marea lights have completely clear, unfocused glass in front of them.. while the bravo/a of the same year (2001) has fluted glass (to aid the spread/focus)

I am wondering (as i prefer to change lights in pairs.. nothing worse than having one that looks newer than the other) if the light would perform better with the fluted focused lens or with the clear lens?

What do we think?

It's defo Aux Belt related.. possibly alternator freewheel pulley... it's almost as loud as the engine! heheheh and yes.. it's not an electric pump.. it's belt driven.
