For anyone that would like a car for spares, I have a '00 1.8 115 for the taking.
If it doesn't go soon, it will be meeting the crusher. Which would be a shame as I could drive it to the crusher.
Starts and drives but no 5th or reverse due to internal gearbox damage. That's a long story I can re-tell to the person who comes to take it.
I put up about 3k miles in this condition. Quite stressful having to always be able to drive into and out of a parking space!
