Hi I wonder if anyone can help I have a Marea sx and I am having major problems with the dashboard lights it keeps blowing the fuse. That you might say is not much of a problem but it doesn't blow straight away it can last for days and then blow or it can blow 20 mins later.(which is a real pain because the speedo goes black and I can't see the speed i'm going whoops!) Can any one at all help this damsel in distress I don't want to take it to a mechanic without basic knowledge in case i am ripped off (which has happened in the past) thanks
I removed my dash display on friday (faulty connection to glowplug light), quite easy if you take your time. Your will need a set of allen keys as i cant remember the correct size (fairly small one) and a phillips screw driver and about 1 hr if you take your time.
All i did was remove, and refit and the light works perfectly now, couldnt see why is wasnt working, maybe a loose connection somewhere .
So it may be worth your time doing it to yours your never know with fiat electrics (loose connection, something shorting a connection???)
