General removing Front wings

They've got to be the hardest wings in history to get off!

No wonder new ones are expensive, I've managed to wreck both wings and was planning on taking some good ones off a scrapper, but I doubt I'd get them off without damaging them. They seem to be spot welded at the bottom.
I'll just buy new ones and have done with it.

I "removed" one off the brava. That can't be used again.
I'd found a marea in a breakers in bury, but judging by the way the brava wing really didn't want to come off without swearing at it, I think I'd struggle in the rain and two cars high.

Do you have any experience with pattern wings Carlos? I think read genuine wings are something like 300 quid a pair :(

Yeah I bought some pattern parts for my for my first bravo when I did a Marea conversion
They fit about 10mm away from the door shut line
And the bottom never really fitted correctly

If you are going to keep it and make it look awesome then I would go straight to Fiat Main dealer and get some genuine new ones
Or go on a Brazilian website Mercado livre.com.br and search Marea Para Lamas, its a hell of a lot cheaper than here

Having been used to jap car panels, I realised my errors, there's more metal to the fiat wings than I gave credit for. There was me trying to separate the wing from the bit that's glued to the a post.

It was much easier given some heat. And easier again when I'd realised it was all part of the bloody wing.

Still, stupidity aside I'm happy to remove them from a car in a breakers now.

thanks to all in this thread i managed to get my right hand side wing off with no damage.
tricky bits were the Allen key bolt under the bonnet hinge mechanism where there is no straight access, and the screw under the door, on which i nearly stripped the head off. this is situated on the part which Steve seems to have left on the car
top tip was the blow torch to apply some heat to the glue and which also helped me get that screw out.
