Hi all Im a new member to the forum.

I have a 2000 Marea Weekend Est 1.9JTD SX.

I love this car. It is a real workhorse and drives beautifully however like most of you it has a few probs, i.e.

1.Air Flow meter faulty but the car runs well with it disconnected. Will this harm the car in the long run? Would a meter from a Bravo, Punto etc do?

2. Bottom pulley and tensioner had to be replaced

3. Boot door handle jams and has to be forced open

4. Radio is faulty and needs replaced. Does anyone have a spare or know where I can get a second hand one? Again would the Bravo radio fit the Marea dash?

Looking forward to your coments

Skul.

Hello there, welcome to the forum. :)

The boot handle is a common problem on Weekends. Have a look at this thread;

A Bravo/a or Marea stereo will fit. There are usually some on eBay. This one is currently 99p;

or you could fit an aftermarket stereo using a facia adaptor;

www.fiatboo.co.uk is a useful site for Bravo/a and Marea owners.

I'll leave the other questions to those that own Mareas, I have a Brava myself.
