Hi folks,

Gearbox is a bit rough when I put it in 3rd especially when shifting down from 4th. Screech!!!!!! It runs smoothly, but it's the actual change, and the clutch is all the way down so that can't be it

Would a dose of transmittion fluid do it, or is something more drastic needed?

Also, the fuel gauge bottoms out in seconds in 4th and sometimes 3rd, revs are just around 2000rpm, no strain as I was on a flat surface last time and time before.

Half tank of petrol and I look down and the Gauge is blinking Orange and the arrow is down to zero. My foot was barely on the pedal and I mean barely.

As soon as I change gear it goes back up, gradually, then it'll decide to behave in 4th and 5th too, then it goes back down, and so on.

It's like a YOYO and a bit worrying.

Any ideas?

Check you have plenty of brake fluid. The hydraulic clutch runs off it.
Yes check the transmission fluid.
Sounds like the fuel sender is dodgy. Hava a look to see if its anything obvious. Its attached to the fuel pump, shuld be a round hatch in the boot above the fuel tank.
