Quick clean of the red Marea with Maguires Compound then polished with Auto Glym super Polish
Then a bit of red wax
Comes up a treat and will do for now until the respray

steve20vt is a Renault Espace V6 splitter, deeper than the Laguna splitter

Soo treated BLUE to some refurbed wheels

Same wheels as my weekend although nicer colour

Yeah they are Weekend wheels from my silver turbo
Can't use them anymore because of the brakes so though i would give them a nice home

Presumably those were the wheels you had jammed up under the arches of the poor Punto? Were the "Rapid" tyres already fitted?

They look good on the Marea saloon.. the car looks pretty moody with all the dark trim now.

It's a saloon I bought for my dad
And for me to fix up

Tbf I don't like the crappy rubber bit it will do until I can get some proper Pirelli P6000 which is what it left the factory with

Quick update

My Red Weekend distroyed its coolant hose of death last Wednesday
I nursed the car home and fitted a spare pipe I had from the turbo project

Wednesday this week, was returning home from Brands Hatch when one of the rods went through the sump and piston 5 distroyed itself

Consequently the Marea needs a new engine

Now I have sourced a low mileage short engine

Hopefully it will be done in time for Brooklands

Didn't go round it was a car show

She went round a couple of months ago and performed faultless
Soo sad

But good has come of this

My turbo needs parts from my red wagon

Full body and engine loom swap
Rear boot spoiler
Rear tailgate locks and handle
Bonnet lifters
Leather interior

So will have a Super Turbo Marea

And damn, i want some coupe 20vt wheels for my bravo - nearly won some on ebay last week but was pipped at the post. Today I was at the vets with one of my cats and it cost over £400 so will have to wait before spending money on wheels i don't technically need lol.

Well just a quick update
Marea has been sat in storage while the other one was stripped
Getting it back next week :-D

Well the wagon still hasn't come back :'( ....starting to miss her
On better news I have stopped and repaired the loom from my 147 20v wagon ready for fitting
Also cleaned alotbof the beige interior readdy for the swap

Will be the only Silver wagon in world with the ultra rare beige interior that only came with Pompeii red cars

Ok soo been doing a little research and found that the 3.0 Busso V6 bolts straight in the Marea and would be awesome next to my Bravo Turbo
