if this all turns out how intended, i reckon your marea could end up being one of the nicest cars on the forum.
any chance you could give a quick rundown on the steps and tools required to remove and replace the subframe, my suspension is knocking louder and louder, i suspect my silentblocks have all gone, are all 4 the same, anti roll bar and triangle? from the looks of your photos they seems to be.
my MOT is looming....... i'm scared :/ i've started looking on the second hand market for another Marea already especially seeing as mine is a TD and france have talked about introducing extra strict pollution controls for all diesels not on a common rail system starting this year.

Removal of the frame is simple

1. Disconnect wishbones from struts

2. Lower complete exhaust
And the transmission tunnel guards and disconnect gearbox mounts

3. Remove 2 bolts that hold the frame to chassis either side of car

4. remove 8 bolts at the rear of the frame

5. Wiggle it out

Tools you will need is a socket set and a breaker bar (impact gun also helps)

Nice cars but I must say I'm not really a fan of the "monster truck" wheels you stick on your cars...

The right wheels make such a difference to the image of Fiats, and I'm very against "overgearing" of cars with the wrong tyres.

Good work though, keep at it.

Right so
Spent the whole of Sunday refurbishing the rear brakes and quite happy
Although one thing bothered me
She buying the Braided brake hoses
The agent told me that a Coupe 20vt has 6 rubber pipes and that the Marea only has four
But ordered 6 anyway
And behold the Marea has in fact 6 rubber pipes, 4 at the rear 2 at the front
