Could anyone give a bit of advice please?

Drivers door on Marea is making a loud cracking sound when opening. On close inspection I can see that the noise is actually the arm clicking when the door is open or closed.

There are two bolts holding the mechanism onto the door and I am assuming by adjusting these I can make the problem dissapear.

Can anyone confirm this or give advice on how to adjust please?

that happened me before, it got real bad but it jus then fixed its self. it might take a while but it'll go away

Thanks for all the replies! I have heavily greased the strut so I guess the loose bolts maybe the issues although I have pulled back the plastic cover and given them a good tighten! I was wondering if there was any adjustment neccesary as there does seem to be some play in the mechanism when you loosen the bolts, so I was wondering if when the bolts had worked loose the mechanism may have dropped slightly? Anyways I will experiment with it.
