I recently bought a Marea Weekend 1.8ELX with Climate Control. The Aircon wasn't blowing chilled air when I bought it so I had it re-gassed. Some dye was inserted so if the coolant gas leaked, it would be clear from where.

Within 2 weeks, all the coolant gas had leaked away, it is now clear that I have at least the following two problems.

1. need a new compressor, since the existing one is the main culprit.
2. need a replacement pipe which runs away from the compressor along the front of the engine.

I am being told the compressor could cost around £300!! :

Does anyone in the forum know a good source of parts for these items?
