As this is my first post on this great site I will be as quick as possible. Anybody got the pin out diagram for the ecu on a 1999 Marea 1998cc 5 cylinder engine. the ecu is the later type fitted on top of the engine. I have had the ecu checked out by Autotek in Poole they say it is working fine. car has no spark and the auto electricion has tried all sorts to find the problem it is not the imobaliser. the sparks says the driver coils are not actuateing what ever that is. but cant go anyfurther as he needs the data sheet for the ecu. I hope you can help me. thank you everybody.

Haven't got the diagram, but usual suspect when this sort of thing happens is the crank sensor - the ecu doesn't see the engine turning so doesn't spark.
I'm sure your bloke's already checked that though.

Will tell him just the same. he was trying to trigger the ecu to fire with his laptop.
