I dont know if the plugs are mounted the same way on all mareas.. but guess so. At least on my marea (2.0 20v) the is a flat plastic/alu cover on the top of the engine that has to go off first.. under this cover sits all ??the english word lost here tændspoler? ignite stuff?? on top of the spark plugs.. pull one up and the plug is underneath.. you need a looooong remover to get it out i remember.

Hi,
The spark plugs on the 1.6 are at the front of the engine with standard HT leads.
The 2.0 and 1.8 models have coil packs attached directly to the spark plugs, these are under a panel on the 2.0 and one of the 1.8 models. (Strangely enough I think that the 1.8 Bravo/a has the 4 cylinder version of the 2.0 rather than the Marea).

I have a Marea Weekend 1.8ELX and wonder about the spark gap (the plugs). How many millimeters (sorry, I just understand metric... :p and yes I do know it´s just ariound one millimeter).

Thanks! I really love this site, lots of knowledge and enthusiasm for FIAT! :)
