This is my first post - so here goes:

I am the proud owner of a 2.0 20v with knackered wipers.
Only seems to work on full. when on intermittant, the wipers stay still, but I still here a loud humming from the engine bay. (Yes the engine is OFF)

It all seems to work fine with the wipers off, but put them back on, and they don't move.

Add to this the burning smell that fills the car.

So my question is will the motor and linkage from a brava/bravo fit the marea? it certainly looks like it.

Or anyone know where I can pick up a cheap motor? (Best I have found is around 70quid b.new)

All help appreciated.

Dave, the breakers is not the sort to take parts off cars and post them, sorry, they are "old school", which means things are a lot cheaper but you do need to get your hands dirty,
i could go down there today (sat) and get the wiper motor if you still need it

I appreciate the offer, but thankfully I've managed to find one locally. I guess it's a good thing that there aren't many fiats in scrapyards.

For the record, I pulled one off a brava, and it seems to work fine. (so far so good)
