to day i noticed a rattle that developed in my Marea 1.6

the car only rattles at around 2500 revs and seems to be coming from the gearbox

should i be worried doesnt seem to have affected the driving of the car :bang:

I've just this morning fixed a rattle/vibration on my Marea 1.6. Similar to yours, it would only appear at a certain amount of revs. Here's what the cause was on my car, if you take the n/s front wheel off you will see a large bracket coming off the front of the gearbox? that goes to an engine/gearbox mount onto the chassis. Inbetween the top of the engine mount and the chassis is a steel plate, it was loose on mine. I had my clutch replaced a few weeks ago and the guy hadn't tightened one of the mounting bolts properly.
