Which models are fitted with this famous dual mass flywheel?

Only diesel versions??

Does a petrol 1.8 16V engine version have this sort of flywheel or does it have one which does not given any warping problems???

Our 1.9hgt punto diesel has one which cost a fortune to replace, the whole idea of a DMF was for diesel engines and to take the 'shock' of combustion out of the transmission

The dual-mass flywheel isn't really an issue. I got my clutch changed on Tiramisu I around 100,000 miles, and the flywheel could have kept going. I changed it thought because I was planning a remap and wanted the best possible performance.

I sold the car a couple of months later.

Is warping only a problem with DM fywheels??

I paln to renew the clutch on my 1.8 16v, can the flywheel be in need of replacement??

Its more common for the internal springs to fail, you'll Know this as it rattles and judders when you initially release the clutch.
Personally I would advise you to change the DMF at the same time as the clutch if you can justify the expense.
