Hi, I've looked around for solutions on the forum, but most seem to be for diesels. I seem to be getting no 'pull' when I accelerate.

Plugs and air filter are new, and I have yet to clean the MAP and IAC (Thanks in advance MrMigs08).

The exhaust seems to have a leak/gasket problem just in front of the Kat, very loud, but I cant quite isolate it. Could this be part of the problem?

I have also read about disconneting the battery so that the ECU will 'learn' my driving style (Like an granny), is this true?

Thanks for any help.

If exhaust is leaking before cat then i'd say a lack of back pressure can cause issues, but wonder if a collapsed cat could cause this o_O?

Nearly done with this video man, busy weekend!! :)

Hi, no rush on the vids, enjoy the weekend! The car was in for a service and the guy didn't say anything about a collapsed Kat, (Which I assume he would have noticed).
I don't know, I'll have to try and get under it when I have time/the temperature isn't sub-zero, and see if i can see where the leak is.
I haven't checked my consumption since I had the plugs and filter done, so maybe it all hangs together.
Other than that, it seems to be a good car, for a '97. I might try some other things like swap out the plug leads and ignition coil, to see if anything improves.
Thanks for the advice.
