General Rear Interior Light wiring

Best and easiest way would be to pick up power from behind the front interior light, just find the permanently live wire and tap into it. I would suggest running two wires one to the left and one to the right, it should be easy to run them above the head lining across from the front interior light to above the front doors then towards the rear of the car, both sides, to where you want to mount your new lights. Connect these live feeds to the switched contact on the lights and then take an earth wire from the other side of the lights down both 'B' pillars on to a pair of standard courtesy light switches mounted in the back of the 'B' pillars. Mount them so that opening the back doors will release the switches and make the connection to earth. Job Done!:)

No problem, doing it that way means that the only dismantling you need to do is removing the B pillar trims to get to the back of the holes you will drill for the courtesy light switches. Apart from that everything else can be accessed by pulling off the door rubbers. And it means all your interior lights are on the same circuit. Good luck:)
