Hi, and many greetings from Estonia.
I´m new in fiat world and i would like to know how many temp. senders are on marea 1.8 83kw. And where are they located.. My marea starts good when cold but if it reaches approx. 90-95 degrees the injector light come on. When warm my marea just dies and wont start until its cooled down. Lambda sensor and crankshaft sensor are replaced and now some guy from the autoshop told me taht it is the temp. sender that gives me a headache. Then i´ve started to look for temp. sender and unplugged it. Fan started on max speed but temp gauge and engine management shows no change expect revs vobble a tiny bit but nothing more, so there must be another sender somewhere, that gives temp info to gauge and ecu. My autodata program shows only one sender.

I hope u guys forgive me my faulty english and understand what im trying to say.

Best wishes,
Raivo.

I´ve changed ECT but the problem is still the same. I need some advise guys.

Sincerly,
Raivo

Thank you Charlie for reading material. I´ve used forum search engine many times but haveńt found anything that helps me to proceed. My marea 1.8 ELX ´97 doesńt have HT leads. Crank, coolant and lambda sensors are replaced next i take on camshaft sensor. Am i right that cam and crank sensors are basically the same and share the same purpose? If so, then they must share same symptoms on failure?

Greetings from Estonia,
Raivo.
