Am I the only person on the forum who gets a bit annoyed when people can't be bothered to say thanks for the help and interest with their problem?

We pass on information and experience to other forum members not to get thanked but because we know that what comes around goes around and soon it will be us with a problem needing help. We don't do it to get thanked. But having gone to the trouble of replying to their query, sometimes even getting the books out to check our facts, the least they should do is say 'thanks pal'.
The forum even makes it easy by providing a 'Thanks' button to click on at the bottom of the window!

By the way, how are property prices down your way, I heard that prices have plummeted since the Styx flooded last year, and you can't get insurance!

Its fine, nobody wants stay somewhere that you need to use a ferry as part of your commute. So they have never been too high in the first place.

The help we all get from the forum is always really really appreciated. pls dont think otherwise or feel you dont want to share info. So thanks for oil leak, bearings, non starting(though never got that one sorted) info. Wish me luck with my rear hub replacement today. cheers.
