Hello guys ,i have Marea 1.6 ELX . Now it is winter and i haven't have even a drop of antifreeze in my radiator cooling water , so first i need to drain the water in radiator , there should be a plug under car as oil sytem has , but i dont know where it placed , could you tell me the way or place for drain water in radiator sytem , thank you for your help.

Radiator plug? i doubt that exists :p you need to remove the lower coolant tank expansion hose and blast water through the upper hose until it comes out clean.

Then you can do whatever you want with it,

But surely you have a proper solution in your radiator or you are risking severe engine damage??

Thanks for answer , but i found that plug :) So it is much more easier , when you open the engine , it is top left on the radiator , it is a kind of plastic screw plug which you can remove by your hand. You need to remove it , then when you add new water or antifreeze , the water in radiator flows out from there , so i added enough antifreeze , now it works fine ;)

That's a bleed screw, should be a couple dotted about. :)

Yeah you can't bleed a radiator fully out of that bleed screw , you need! to remove the hoses ,

And must stress you need proper solution for the cooling system!

i did mine last year, infact i changed the rad, but i just popped the lower hose off and drianed it, i also flushed the rad through with a hose, then bolted the lower hose back on, filled with my mix of 50/50 water and paraflu, then run it up to temp, and bled the system using the bleeding points, top left of rad and top and round teh back of the engine (20v)

cheers
