Does anyone have any tips or guide to replacing the interior driver door handle on a Marea? The handle has came right off and is in one piece, but it has snapped off at the joint in the inside of the door. I fear a trip to the scrappy might be in order, or can anyone suggest a good place to source the parts I may need?

cheers

I had to take a rear interior handle off a while ago. I was pretty easy. A screwdriver to prise off a cap and an allen key should do the trick.

Managed to get the interior cover off the door to have a look. The part that has broken appears to be the "idle lever" (according to the ePER manual). Anyone know a good place to source parts for a Marea?

If it is for the front half of the car, go to any scrap yard / breakers / car parts dealer and ask for bits for a Brava or Bravo of the same age. They will all fit as the front of each car is the same, it is just the rear that is differnet (i.e one is an Estate, one a Saloon, one a Hatchback).

Everything I have got second hand for my Marea has come from asking my local breakers yard for Bravo parts and fitting them without any problems at all.

Yes, it's the front - drivers door. I'll have a scout about the local scrappy. cheers for that.
