Hello all

I was hoping someone could help me please as i am pulling my hair out and i did not have much to start with.
6 months ago i bought a fiat marea 155 hlx weekend and have had no problems until yesterday when the battery went dead on me so i got towed back home where i took the battery off to place on charge, one of the strange things was even with the battery off there was a praticaly quite beeping still coming from the car which i thought was strange as the battery was off where was it getting power from to do that but anyhow the battery was charged and i put it on this morning and yes the car started up but the alarm sounds and will not stop.
I have all 3 keys 2 blue and 1 red/brownish the blue ones have little buttons that have never worked even with new batterys.
Can anyone please help me how to stop the alrm going off and having the hazard lights flashing while driving.
I have checked the owners manual but got no where.

Thank you so much before hand.
Kirk

Sounds like you'll need to program the key to the car.

According to my manual. You can program the key
By getting in closing the doors but not locking them.
Press a pen into the button by the rear view mirror the
green led will flash keep pressing it and with the key close to the receiver press the
button on the key. the green led should stop flashing on become constant.
release the button on the key then mirror and that should be it programmed!

Hope that helps. (y)

hey. Having the same problem with my car too. Battery went flat, charged it back up and the alarm started wailing! It also went off during my Mot too and had the inspector scratching his head! Would low voltage cause this?
