Hi guys

I had diagnostics done on my 2001 Fiat Marea 1.6sx and was told that my ABS/ESP SV Relay is faulty.

Does anybody know where this relay is in the car?

Thanks.

Most relays are in the main fuse box above the drivers feet. There are some in a relay box in front of the battery but the ABS one is not there, however the 2 red ones are ingntion relays and this area does get corroded so worth cleaning them up. My Bravo/Brava Haynes manual does not show any relays external to the ABS unit. If I remember I will look in the Marea handbook when we are out in it tomorow.
I put a pic of the relay box in my gallery.

Thanks for that info Renegade, I would really appreciate it if you could have a look in your Marea book. I'm hoping it's not the relays inside the ABS unit, but if it is then I'll just have to get dirty and open it up.

Bad luck I'm afraid, the handbook gives you all the fuses , some on loose leaf inserts for the RHD car, but no relays. Now I think about it I had to find out what relay did what by shorting across the contacts with a wire when I had fan troubles. One fuse is the 60A under the bonnet near the firewall and the other is one of the "caged" ones in the main fuse box 3rd down on RHS 10A. Yuo might get lucky if the EPAS is still working on this site.
