I'm a newbie here who just bought a 1998 Marea Weekend 1.6 16V (automatic) stationwagon ('estate') and the heater matrix was by-passed by the previous owner's Fiat mechanic. I'm confused as to whether or not: (a) I can do this myself as a DIY (I'm fairly capable mechanically but never did this...), and (b), does it in fact require FULL dash removal as several sources insist (and Haynes illustrates), or can it be replaced as 'simply' as Sven's excellent color guide shows with only glove-box removal but leaving the full dash intact? (Not sure whether his guide applied to Brava/o only or a Euro-drive Marea as well.) Thanks!!
