The clock in my 2001 Marea 1.9 JTD HLX is mad! I keep setting it back to the correct time but then it jumps to an arbitrary time about 1hr 20min earlier. Sometimes it will stay ok for a couple of days and sometimes it jumps back to "Fiat" time straight away. The clock is part of the Grundig stereo and I think it might have something to do with the RDS radio "correcting" the time wrong. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions other than chucking the stereo?

Its the Italian radio stations giving weird time signals, I sat down and experimented for a while and found that each commercial station had its own (wrong) time! Tuned it into RAI and spot on again! Its also fine if tuned in to French stations, sometimes when driving it was losing a station, finding a new one and resetting the clock! Mystery solved.

you can turn off the function in the "expert" menu.. always seems to mess up the time as stations rarely seem to have their RDS clock set right.
