My Marea 105 JTD is on the back of a recovery truck as I type. It expired on a roundabout on the A5 with no gears. Its on its way to a garage in Ashby de la Zouch to see what wrong, £65 for diagnostics. There was gear oil dripping from it. I could engage gears with no clutch but it just wouldn't move.... recovery man suspects clutch or final drive.

Just fitted new shock and drop links and got 12 months MOT on it as well :bang:

Cant understand why you would need a diagnostic for a gearbox

From the info it looks like clutch. About £400 so up to you, but if its OK otherwise Mareas are very nice cars...

The diagnostic it to find out what exactly the problem is, clutch, gear box or (I'm really hoping here) a inner drive shaft joint. I replaced the lower ball joint rubber on Sunday and the inner joint was manipulated a lot.
