Petrol warning Light: whats the reason for this not working? ive fitted my new clocks and ive only really needed to fill up today (having not using the car all week) but i noticed the warning light didnt come on.Is this down to a bulb? On my old clocks,it worked.

Fualty needle: Whats the problem with this? on way home from wigan today,it was bouncing and then went dead, like it was struggling to get a read out.
But like i say,it cant be bad connections as ive tested them all and there is defo power going to all the wires.,and i know the old clocks worked fine

Any help appreciated,Thanks

Mike

Its gonna sound stupid but I suppose the obvious thing to say is have you checked all the connections to the rear of the new clocks you'v put in mate , sometimes we miss things that are staring straight at us.

i have mate yer,i made sure they were tight when i put new clocks in.Im gona strip them and and test the petrol pin in the adaptor see if it lights up.
The speedo problem,i been doing a bit of searching on here and what i can find is that it could be down to the actual sender on the box? I mean my car has been stood for a year and half, hence the icv packing in on me few weeks ago.

Just quick update *touch wood* speedo needle is now fine since posting. It has been working as it should which i find strange, maybe the fact that the clocks have been off and needed reconnecting properly after a few drives? OR the fact car has been stood still for a while and the speedo sensor wasnt registering properly

But anyway, been to a mate in wigan and obviously town driving back home and its been fine :)

'fingers crossed it stays like this lol
