Technical dials not working

To make sure we are talking about the right fuses i removed the services fuses on my 20v today to see what happens to the instrument panel.
The first service fuse is positioned second in on the bottom row from left.
the second service fuse is the next one along on the same (bottom row)
removed one fuse at a time and on both occasions the clocks the digital
mileometer and the fuel and temp gauge stopped working.
what year model is your car as the manual shows different fuse positions in some cases and also differnt between petrol and diesel models.also an upgrade on some of the electrics in yr 2000
ps. my car is 99 so earlier model

Hi mate the car is a P bravo but the engine box loom suspensions etc came out of a 147 marea to which i have the 160 clocks.(as you can see on my sig)
Yer i know where you mean with the service fuses,2nd and 3rd one in from the left on the bottom row.1st one was a 10a 2nd was a 15a.I removed the 15amp 1st and all the lights went out on then clocks,i pushed it back in several times whilst the ignition was on hoping for the dials to possibly flicker.when i removed the 1st service fuse nothing happened.Im wondering wether my clocks have blown.

i have a bravo hgt in my garden that my mate is breaking but has circle dials and 140mph as i was going to test them on my loom BUT i imagine them to be different fitting? or are they?

went to a few scrapyards in bury yesterday with a mate as he was there few weeks back and there was 1 20v marea in..only to find it had gone yesterday.£15 in fuel gone lol well i did manage to rob a new pipe that comes off the TB off a 20v na coupe.but then i suppose you can say that costed £15 l:( lol

ive emailed laods of breakers on ebay and there was a few 20v mareas,1 guy wanted 30+ postage for the clcoks :0

Is there anything else i can try and do to try get my dials working? like i say stripped the dials last week, seperated the back and the actual board from it all and just cleaned up and blew all the dust off and messed about with the connections on the top hoping for the dials to flicker, but nothing :(

Mike
