Have read posts on bushes/mods etc but I seem unable to get the bar out; have removed drop links (to be replaced) and undone the bolts holding the clamp each side and can move the bar about freely but cannot manouevre it out to the side. Do I have to remove anything else eg the subframe? Any advice much appreciated......

Apparently the sub frame has to be removed. I took mine to the local garage to be done because of this.Mechanic said it was a t**t of a job. He said the same he could't manovure the anti-roll bar out so removed sub frame. Maybe someone will come along whos done it themselves and found an easier way.

Wonder if its possible to get at the clamps/drill out welds/renew bushes by easing bar to one side.....

I think you can ive seen a post on here where someone tried it or did it. It was either Marea or on brava site. Maybe try search on toolbar.
