Hi,my Marea has a cassette player, but on the cover it says cd changer, does this mean there is a casstte for cds hiding somewhere in the car???
I have the fascia to put in my own cd player, how easy/difficult is this to do?Am i best getting someone to do it for me,because the whole old fascia would need taking out?
thanks :)

There is probably no cd changer fitted, if there is it will be under the rear seat. Some of the original fit head units can control a cd changer but the changer itself was an option that, from what I have read, did not get taken up very often.
Changing the head unit is simple, you will need the right keys to remove the Fiat unit and a fascia which can be purchased from any half decent hi-fi shop or ebay (Halfords do them but they will have to order in as not from shop stock). The connections are standard ISO so plug straight in to many head units, failing that an interface lead can be obtained from same places as the fascia. The only thing you may lose is the steering wheel controls unless the new head unit supports them in which case you will need yet another interface lead.
One word of warning, if you need interface leads be careful as you put the new unit back, you end up with a lot of cabling behind the unit and it is quite easy to trap it which may cause problems in the future.
Good luck(y)
