I have a FIAT Marea 100ELX auto. A day ago while driving up a slope a yellow warning light came on (looking in some ways like an engine). Now it has done it before and disappeared after a day or so of non use (once) and the dash is going through the traditional Marea problem of digits resetting on startup and the trip milometer suck on 0. That bit I can ignore, but this yellow warning light is bothering me. The engine sounds and feels normal, and there is no smoke whatsoever.
(owned from new, just my miles, coming up to 60k now - cam belt changed earlier this year, exhaust merely a few weeks old with a full service and diagnostic that showed nothing at a time).
Do I need to get my car to a FIAT garage ASAP? Or is this something I can self diagnose that could be an electrical or sensor fault?
