Hi guys, my marea will be on the road on the 7th of nov so need to get a few things done before then (service, new brake pads, cambelt). I am going to do the cambelt myself, i have read the guide on here and it seems pretty straightforward, if a little tight. If anyone else has done ther's and can offer me advice i would appreciate it. The other thing is i want to change the fuel filter. I have one and know where it is located but have you guys got any tips for doing this? Is ther anything i should look out for?
Cheers in advance.
Will

Hi Wilgaeda,

For the belt, take a look at the Marea CAM BELT thread. I, BatMarea, and several others have posted to it recently. Note that if the belt is put on just one tooth out, the engine will not run properly.

Please tell me if your flywheel/clutch housing has an uncovered rectangular hole at the top. It's where you will need to check the timing mark. My doubt is: should this hole be open or should it have a cover?

Cheers,
BRIAN

Cheers for the help guys.
