firstly this is my first post, and secondly the car is a friends.
the car broke down when he was low on petrol, filled it back up, and would not start, have chacked all filters, pumps e.c.t petrol is geting in to the engine, there is plenty of spark both from the h.t leads and sparks,
when you turn the key it spins the engine but there seems to be no compression, it seems to just be spining freely,
first thought was cam belt but it appears to be in good nick, and still tight.
any ideas what it could be.
called green flag, he just looked at it and said cam belt, but if it isnt in pieces and still in place how can it be?
