Hi all,

My heater never seems to get particularly hot and my windows are always soaking wet on the inside. It's getting to be like driving around in a fish tank!! Heeeellllllllllpppppppppppppp!

Hi.

Is the carpet at pass. footwell wet?
Does your coolant level drop?
I sounds like your heater matrix is gone..

Thanks for the replies. Will have a look at the pollen filter and mixer flap if i can figure out how to get at them!!

Carpets are dry so no problem there.

Cheers all,

D:)

Air lock in coolant system could explain the lack of heat.
Good point, You can sometimes clear these by removing the filler cap (cold engine of course:eek:) and sqeezing the top then bottom rad hose to pump the water round. Some cars have bleed points on the heater circuits, mine doesn't but slow filling and using the rad bleed points works fine, and another obvious one, is the thermostat OK?

Hi, might be a silly question, but you haven't got your recirculating air button switched on have you?. I had a similar problem with mine, and it had been switched on by mistake. Switched it off, and problem solved.
