I have a 1998 Marea elx 1.8 with factory fitted radio. Have just got it back from the garage and when I turn on the radio it displays "SAFE".

I have the code for the radio - how do I enter and confirm this.

I need to be able to keep myself updated whilst searching for the "Real Radio Fugitive"!!

Assume your code is 2703.
Switch radio on.
SAFE appears on display for about 3 secs.
Press button 1 twice, (2 on display)
Press button 2 seven times, (27 on display)
Press button 3 ten times, (270 on display)
Press button 4 three times, (2703 on display)
Press and hold TP until SAFE appears on display

p.s. if you get it wrong the time between attempts is increased, after 5 attempts it is 24 hours.
