luckily in all honesty ive not had any issues with faulty dials since i got mine 7 months ago..well apart from a few blown bulbs that wernt showin on dash since but replaced them :).Glad this thread came up as its all handy to know in the future

Hi did you manage to resolve this in the end....?? I had a similar issue with the petrol gauge dropping below empty and then coming back up at random intervals..... Mine was resolved by thoroughly cleaning the terminals on the fuel gauge plug on top of the fuel tank... Looked like water and years of dirt was causing a bad connection.... Access was fairly easy once the rear carpet was folded out of the way.....

Now ive had this problem a few times, but i thought that this problem was down to actually when your driving and bumpy roads.Cus when your driving ya fuel gauge go down a bit due to the engine running and actually using fuel etc, and obviously when ur idle, its settled?

if the light is coming on, then there is a problem with the sender or the wiring to the cluster, the warning light also uses the resistance/current signal from the sender

i got it sorted in the end, just got a auto-lec bloke to sort it in the end. It was just a bad connection on the sender in the end! cheers for your help guys. ;0)

Hi, I have the same problem. I think that the problem is within the tank?, there is a "float" inside, and it could be wrong?. I need help. the car has the problem since I bought it. Thanks
