| | Re: The First UK Marea Turbo? Build thread Thanks for the comments, i've not been around much lately as i'm a BMW ****** now ![]() i still have the Marea and its still running nicely, no MOT and it wont be a road car again (well, unlikely anyway) but i will be using it on the track. this isnt a new part but i never got around to updating the thread when i bought it. EVO FMIC to go with the rest of the Project 300 parts: hopefully when the weather warms up i will take a fancy to getting them fitted, less of a rush with it not being a daily drive aswell now ![]() Ry | ||

| | Re: The First UK Marea Turbo? Build thread tbh Ry, to make a track only car outta it seems a little pointless to me, yeah it will be fun but it'll never handle as well as a track car should (i will never forget the lean that thing got on castle combe ) I would just keep it as a stealth road weapon, for use on sunny sunday afternoons but end of the day, do what you like, its your car If you wanted to sell to buy a real track-day car then i would be interested

MOT, TAX & Insurance to use her just for the weekends is out of my budget really and if why i'm just going to use her for the odd track day. its certainly possible to overcome the amount of roll at the rear end and wont really cost a huge amount but its if i want to put the effort in to get it there. if you want to PM me an offer i may consider it but wouldnt make any promises. | | Re: The First UK Marea Turbo? Build thread fair play, i have same issue of money with the sei turbo but so far have just about managed to deal with the expense.. If i was being honest with myself i would never be able to afford a heavily modified daily driver as well.

| | Re: The First UK Marea Turbo? Build thread End of the day, its only gonna be a matter of getting an MOT and tax disc and it will able to go back on the road, its no biggy. You gonna keep it looking all stealth Ry, or you gonna get track slag stickers etc on it?
