| Have to do a clutch change on 20v 155 and have been following the how to guide but need some advice . Gearbox is nearly ready to drop but the driverside driveshaft is still attached to the gearbox. Should I have removed caliper and wishbone etc on driverside as well as passenger side? OR, does this simply slide out on splines from the gearbox?Any advice appreciated please. Thanks

Can now answer my own question, but for the benefit of anyone else, you do need to remove the brake caliper, undo the steering arm, and remove the two strut to hub bolts(but no need to undo rollbar rod end). Then undo the three bolts(13mm) holding the driveshaft centre support bearing, the hub can then be tilted down which will withdraw the driveshaft from the gearbox. I found a broken clutch diaphragm spring which caused the car to stick in gear, clutch was a genuine part replaced only 10k ago (apparently )
